Bonus Episode: Favorite Things 2020
We regret to inform you that we are not in fact, Oprah (whom we both love dearly and can't wait to have on the show when she finds out that we exist). However, we too have some fabulous favorite things and we are excited to share them with you. First of all, before shopping be sure to sign up for the Rakuten app on your laptop, mac or smart phone. It's my very favorite thing this season because I earn money back on everything I buy. It's so super easy: just pull up the app and type in the store where you want to shop and hit the shop button, then shop as usual and rakuten will pay you a percentage of the money you spend. I've been using it for a little over a year and have already gotten $399 back into my pocket (you're paid via paypal or a check in the mail). Click here to start getting paid to shop!
The game Blokus. My family loves this game. It's ages 5+, 2-4 players and only takes 30 minutes. Win/win. Check it out here.
A fabulous gift for any tween or teen girl, the lighted 10 inch Selfie Ring with Extendable Tripod Stand & Flexible Phone Holder Beam Electronics Desktop LED Camera Ringlight for Tik Tok YouTube Video Photo Live Stream Makeup for iPhone Android.
This portable, waterproof speaker is super awesome and one of my very favorite things. A fabulous gift idea for any teen/tween or adult.
Hayley is currently obsessed with SkinCeuticals skin care. Check it out and let us know if you feel a difference.
Hayley swears by her new favorite online barre workout. Only $100 for an entire year of unlimited classes and no equipment needed! Check it out here.
Bobby Bones has a new favorite game and that's all we needed to know to go out and buy it. Unfortunately it seems to be sold out but if you order now, it'll be here in time for after Christmas game time and well in time for New Year's Eve!
If all of this shopping is causing you to need a Netflix and chill (old people style, where you actually watch the movie) then check out The Holidate on Netflix. It's one of Hayley's current faves. Word to the wise, don't watch it with your parents or children. It's not exactly family friendly.
And if you're looking for something a little more low-key, give Ted Lasso a shot. Jay and I (Hillary) watched it in one weekend and loved it!
While I was super skeptical about using these I have to admit that I became a believer. If you love having your nails done but don't have the time, money or just don't want to be in a salon during 'rona season, hit up my girl, Melissa. She sells color street nails and they are super easy, awesome, long lasting and one of my new favorite things. You can find her here. Let her know what you are looking for (I'm a simple french or american manicure kind of gal) and she'll have your nails looking fabulous in no time flat.
Hopefully you signed up for Rakuten at the beginning of this post but if not, it's my VERY favorite thing this season because it puts money back into your pocket. Use it everywhere you shop and you'll quickly wish you'd downloaded it earlier!
This is the gift that just keeps giving! You can sign up here for the Winter 2020 Capsule Wardrobe and your style challenged life will be forever changed. Alison will give you a capsule list and after shopping your own closet you can choose to or not to buy the rest of the items on the list. Then each day for 30 days she sends you an outfit of the day using the items in your capsule wardrobe. Also, there is an awesome facebook group where you can chat with the 30,000 other ladies participating. It's so much fun and makes getting dressed so fun and easy. I can't wait to join again!
